Provides support and services to families and their children (0-6 yrs) through the provision of community-based holistic and culturally based activities.
EarlyON Child and Family Centres provide opportunities for children from birth to 6 years of age to participate in play and inquiry-based programs, and support parents and caregivers in their roles. Families and caregivers can find support, advice, make personal connections and access a network of resources at these centres.
Hospice or palliative care volunteer visitors are specially trained, caring volunteers who visit with clients and their families to support them through a life-limiting or end-of-life journey.
The program assists adults with developmental disabilities living with their families or in the community with little or no support by:
Family, group, or individual support for children 2-6 years old. Child-friendly activities, including reading programs, with assessment of child development and milestones.
Offers support through a collaborative process that helps families with complex needs find solutions to leading a better life, through the support of a team made up of family, friends and community.
Offers a wide variety of services for Canadian Veterans and their families. This includes:
An emergency 22-bed shelter for women, with or without children, who are experiencing family violence, abuse and/or human trafficking. Offers emergency shelter, a safe environment, meals, and access to support workers.
Provides substance use and mental health services for teenagers, young adults, and their families or caregivers.
