Adult Day Programs

Programs that provide care and supervision in a protective setting for dependent adults living in the community during some portion of a 24-hour day. Services may include social and recreational activities, training that is essential for sustaining activities of daily living, hot meals, as appropriate and, if an adult day health care centre, health and related services.

 

Services

Life skills and facilitated recreation and leisure services available to adults diagnosed with intellectual disabilities. Programs are led or facilitated by a qualified recreation therapist. Services are adapted towards client's individual needs, and can include:

Provides adult disability support, supporting adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities through one-on-one community support sessions, a weekly evening program, social events and dance nights, and small group community outings and adventures.

S.A.I.L Special Needs Services provides both in-home and out-of-home respite services for people with disabilities. Programs include behavioral supports, one-on-one assistance, and day program supports.
