Classes and programs include:
A program offered through the City of Hamilton providing access to free tampons and pads in women’s and universal washrooms at Recreation Centres and Arenas, in addition to granting funding to Hamilton Food Share for the purchase and distribution
Ontario provincial program that provides health-related items to people receiving Ontario Works (OW) or Ontario Disability Support Program (ODSP) funding and people on low income.
Health related benefits include but are not limited to:
Quilting guild that meets monthly to share knowledge and skills. Offers workshops to members and has an Outreach Program which makes lap quilts, breast support pillows, and other items for various community organizations.
Catholic full day child care programs in Hamilton Catholic Schools. Care is available for infants (0-18 months), toddlers (18 months-2.5 years) and preschool (2.5-3.8 years). Morning and afternoon snacks and lunch are provided.
Licensed child care centre offering programs for toddlers (ages 14-31 months) and preschool aged children (ages 31 months-4 years). Part-time and full-time care available. A daily breakfast, hot lunch, and afternoon snack are provided.
Offers children camp activities with a science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) theme, where participants learn from qualified STEM experts from across Canada.
This is a licensed child care program where children learn through play, and parents take an active role in their child's education.
