A 24-hour emergency shelter providing beds for youth between 16 and 21 years of age. It provides programming and support to youth in the following manner:
Victim Quick Response Program+ (VQRP+) – program of last resort where no other available private or public resource is available
Offers one-on-one education and advice about effective diabetes management.
Topics include:
Outpatient clinic offers complete care, education, and support for people with Glomerulonephritis (GN), their families, and support persons.
Companionship and home-assistance program offering live-in companions for short term or long term in-home care assignment.
An after-school club offering child care, homework help, snacks, and martial arts instruction to children ages 4 and older.
A free service offering educational programs designed to raise awareness with regard to gambling, healthy/active living, and making informed decisions
Gives youth access to:
Provides support for males and transitional male youth experiencing alcohol or drug addition. Offers advocacy, counselling, education, and life skills building activities in a substance-free environment. Programs include:
Full service lending library available to patients, families, staff, and the community. Includes books, DVD's, and brochures that are available for loan for up to 4 weeks. Part of the Hamilton Health Sciences Network.
