This program helps people aged 16 and older with a developmental disability who are looking for adult developmental services in the following ways:
Search
A shared-ride taxi service between the HSR and local taxi providers. This service is offered in parts of Glanbrook (routes 20, 27, 35, and 44) and Stoney Creek (routes 2, 55, and 55A) where buses do not currently provide service.
Lends books, videos, and sensory stimulation items. Dementia-specific journals are available for reference, brochures and information sheets are available to take away.
Curbside pick-up of garbage, bulk items, yard waste, compostables, and recyclables in the City of Hamilton is managed by the Environmental Services Division of the Public Works Department.
Provides substance use and mental health services for teenagers, young adults, and their families or caregivers.
Offers a variety of services to promote economic development within the Black community.
Services include:

- professional events and support
Offers English classes and conversation circles for newcomers to Canada.
LINC classes provide language training from Literacy to CLB 5 for permanent residents, including Convention refugees.
Responsible for the management of the city's real estate assets and real estate portfolios, which includes the leasing, acquisition, and disposition of properties, site improvements, environmental audits, and the delivery of efficient and effectiv
Counselling services provided by registered social workers or registered psychotherapists. Mental health services are available for children, youth, and their families, as well as for adults and people dealing with addictions.
Works with local partners to offer a wide range of services and activities in order to help newcomer individuals and families settle and integrate into their new community and obtain access to health and social services.
