Children's Aid Society provides adoption and fostering education programs, home studies, adoption placement of children, post-placement counselling and support, and fulfillment of legal requirements to finalize placement of children for adoption.
Provides services surrounding provincial driver's licences and ID cards. Services include:
Provides full-spectrum reproductive doula care, including birth and postpartum support.
A shared-ride taxi service between the HSR and local taxi providers. This service is offered in parts of Glanbrook (routes 20, 27, 35, and 44) and Stoney Creek (routes 2, 55, and 55A) where buses do not currently provide service.
Offers a wide variety of services for Canadian Veterans and their families. This includes:
Victim Quick Response Program+ (VQRP+) – program of last resort where no other available private or public resource is available
A supportive housing project which provides an opportunity for adults with a physical disability to live in a geared-to-income, fully accessible townhouse and to access up to 12 hours per week of essential non-medical attendant and life skill supp
Offers primary health care services to people living in Hamilton who face barriers to traditional health programs.
Doctors and nurses assess and treat minor illnesses and injuries.
