Free weekly groups for pregnant individuals. Discussions with a Registered Nurse and Registered Dietitian include pregnancy, labour and birth, managing stress, eating well and cooking healthy food, breastfeeding, and community supports.
A day program for adults with developmental disabilities.
Assists isolated, low income, and vulnerable seniors age 55 and older with making social connections and maintaining independence through various activities and community referrals.
Offers supportive housing units to individuals with mental or physical disabilities, victims of domestic violence and seniors, men, women, and families.
Aims to improve access to justice for Indigenous peoples in Hamilton and surrounding communities by providing culturally respectful and appropriate legal services to Indigenous clients.
Provides community support and case management services to pregnant and parenting youth.
The main components of programming are:
Alternative education program for Aboriginal students wishing to continue their education, but not currently attending a secondary school, in a culturally appropriate learning environment.
24-hour emotional support and practical assistance to individuals victimized by crime or tragic circumstance such as homicides, suicides, sudden death, assaults, sexual assaults, domestic violence, motor vehicle and fire fatalities, robberies, and
Offers support to young parents navigating a return to secondary school, adult education or alternative education options to complete secondary school (Grade 12).
