Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, in person AFFIRM sessions have been postponed until further notice. Project #AFFIRM is offering free online sessions for LGBTQ+ youth in Ontario, age 14-29. An evidence-informed, cognitive behavioural therapy for LGBTTIQQ2SA youth and adults. It teaches stress and coping skills in four and eight week formats. It also allows LGBTQ+ youth and adults to meet.

AFFIRM is being or has been offered in Hamilton by the Hamilton Family Health Team, North Hamilton Community Health Centre, and Pathways to Education. Each agency offering the program may have different schedules and eligibility criteria for an individual course. The project web site provides information for individuals who want to participate and for agencies that want to implement the intervention.
