Jeanne Scott Parent and Child Resource Centre

A partnership between the Hamilton-Wentworth Catholic District School Board and Good Shepherd that operates an on-site school designed specifically for young parents. Child minding is available on site for their babies or toddlers, allowing students to focus on their education in a supportive and understanding environment. Students are further supported by the Regina’s Place School Liaison, who works one-on-one with young parents on goal setting, advocacy, and connecting them to community resources and support. Participants have access to a range of supports tailored to their individual needs and goals to help strengthen parenting skills, build confidence, and develop essential life skills.
