Programs that instruct the public in the basic lifesaving techniques involved in the administration of emergency assistance to individuals who have been injured or otherwise disabled prior to the arrival of trained medical personnel.

Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) Canada is a training program designed to enable people to recognize symptoms and provide support in mental health emergencies until professional help can step-in. No mental health experience is necessary.

The goals of the course include:

Provides mental health training and education to help promote capacity building and resilience.  Serves individuals of all ages, families, caregivers, community agencies, and the general public.  Offered in Hamilton, Brant, Haldimand and Niagara regions.  Program includes:
