A volunteer organization of community-minded individuals who take pride in the services they render to make their community a better place to work and live.
Confidential investigation of public complaints about Ontario government services that could not be resolved through regular complaints procedures.
Includes:
Provides services to assist individuals who are experiencing homelessness or are on a low income in finding safe and affordable housing.
Services include:
Offers short-term counselling, advocacy, system navigation assistance, and assistance with government applications (such as city housing, DARTS, pension, and ODSP.) Assistance is focused on referring clients to longer-term services.
Provides services such as meeting room rentals, shredding, and media destruction, which is reinvested into Employment Services to help people in the community enter or re-enter the workforce.
Services provided by Interval House of Hamilton at Women's Centre of Hamilton and Flamborough Women's Resource Centre. Provides support for women and their children who are experiencing domestic violence and abuse including:
Provides full-spectrum reproductive doula care, including birth and postpartum support.
This program helps people aged 16 and older with a developmental disability who are looking for adult developmental services in the following ways:
A non-emergency, door-to-door transportation service. Volunteer drivers accompany clients to and from medical appointments and grocery shopping.
