A children-focused museum that focuses on play-based learning and experiences. Play experiences focus on physical, emotional, social, language and cognitive development. This museum is housed in a 1875 farmhouse within Gage Park. 

Physical location of The Hub, a non-profit organization that aims to improve access to services and resources for people in Hamilton who are homeless, or experience housing instability or addiction.

A three-storey multi-agency building which houses all of the city's fire, police, and EMS divisions in one complex, as well as the emergency management and preparedness division. The Multi-Agency Training Academy consists of three components: a multi-storey building and indoor training facility for fire, police, primary response, and emergency preparedness, an outdoor training tower, and a working fire and EMS station.

A supportive housing project which provides an opportunity for adults with a physical disability to live in a geared-to-income, fully accessible townhouse and to access up to 12 hours per week of essential non-medical attendant and life skill support services.

Offers walk-in medical care for patients with urgent health concerns that cannot wait for a family doctor. Staffed by emergency room doctors and provides care for a range of issues including minor broken bones, respiratory illnesses, and minor infections. Also houses Hamilton Health Science's preoperative clinic and special immunology clinic. Part of the Hamilton Health Sciences Network.
 

The Central Branch of the Hamilton Public Library. The Central Branch also houses the main administrative offices and functions of the library system.

This museum is housed in a 160-year-old waterworks, with the site containing two steam-powered beam engines, which pumped water in Hamilton from 1859 to 1910, as well as a collection of artifacts relating Hamilton’s industrial past. The museum offers guided tours, various permanent and changing exhibits, and features special events for the whole family, including Live Steamer Days from May through September.
