This museum is housed in a 160-year-old waterworks, with the site containing two 70-ton steam powered water pumping engines, perhaps the oldest surviving Canadian-built engines. The museum offers guided tours, various permanent and changing exhibits, and features special events for the whole family, including Live Steamer Days from May through September.
The Woodshed is available to rent for weddings, social gatherings, or events and can seat up to 100 guests. Includes use of kitchenette, free parking, and is fully accessible. Contact for information and bookings.
