Trained members of the Alternatives for Youth team have the capacity to distribute naloxone to youth up to the age of 25 and their family/friends in the Hamilton community.  

Provides food for families and individual adults and holiday gifts for children age 13 and under. Hamper pick-up dates will be assigned at the time of registration.

Provides assistance to all Indigenous people, regardless of status, who are in contact with the legal system to help navigate the court process and better understand their rights, options, and responsibilities when appearing before the courts.

Offers a number of day camp programs for school aged children (ages 6-12). Includes camps in the summer, March break, winter holidays, and on PA Days, as well as monthy themed Family Fun days.

CASE provides support to those who are at risk, involved in, or exiting human trafficking situations.

Services include:

Assists First Nations, Metis, and Inuit youth currently in care or exiting the child welfare system in the development of life skills, and connection with jobs, educational supports, mental health supports, housing needs, and advocacy.

The City of Hamilton can provide employers with supports and programming in areas such as healthy eating, physical activity, smoke-free and quitting smoking supports, workplace stress prevention, alcohol and drugs in the workplace, and sun safety.
