Literacy and basic skills training, including numeracy, digital, communication, and interpersonal skills. Helps learners prepare for employment, apprenticeship, secondary-school credit, post-secondary education, and greater independence.
Collects and investigates complaints about physicians and surgeons in Ontario. Also collects and distributes compliments from the public to physicians and surgeons that have offered exemplary care.
Monthly meetings where members share ideas and learn about gardening, with monthly speakers and demonstrations, as well as garden tours, plant sales, and other social events.
Offers first-aid training in courses suitable for adults, employees, first responders, and instructors. Specialized courses include:
Provides services for individuals and families displaced or affected by disaster in partnership with first responders, emergency managers, and public officials.
Information and referral on private, international, and other adoptions
Offers licensed child care before and after school for children in Junior Kindergarten to age 12. Full time care may be available on PA Days, school breaks, and during the summer.
Provides access to laundry equipment and showers, with soap and towels provided.
Provides resources, services, and courses to help blind and visually impaired individuals learn to read braille and improve their literacy skills. Also offers braille transcription services.
