St. Charles Adult and Continuing Education Canadian Citizenship Test Preparation

Provides preparation for the Canadian Citizenship Test and the Language Requirement Certificate for Canadian Citizenship., including regular practice tests using Discover Canada, the official study guide from the Government of Canada. Helps participants to understand the Canadian government system, the rights and responsibilities of citizenship, and learn about Canadian history, geography and society.

Programs operated through the Hamilton Wentworth Catholic District School Board (HWCDSB) and funded through the Ontario Ministry of Labour, Training and Skills Development.

Eligibility

Open to all adults who have immigrated to Canada (Landed immigrants, permanent residents, refugee claimants, convention refugees, and Canadian citizens) who have Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) level 3 or higher.

Application Instructions

Contact 905-526-8452 to book an appointment for language assessment. Assessments are run at the YMCA testing centres. Bring the YMCA language assessment to a St. Charles campus along with all immigration documents and a $10 materials fee to register.
