YWCA Hamilton operates a wide variety of housing options for adults with developmental disabilities, including group homes, residential care facilities, and supported apartment settings.
Drop-in centre providing a space for women, trans-, and non-binary folks to receive compassionate care in a way that creates opportunities to build on their strengths.
Retirement residence offering private rooms or suites with bathrooms and couples rooms. Short stay is available when space permits.
Program provided in partnership with Vision Loss Rehabilitation that provides support for individuals with vision loss and additional functional needs due to a permanent physical disability.
Services include:
Seniors community of townhomes, seniors apartments, and retirement residences. Private and semi-private rooms available, as well as couples rooms and fully detached townhomes. Short stay is available when space permits.
CCAS provides adoption and fostering education programs, home studies, adoption placement of children, post-placement counselling and support, and fulfillment of legal requirements to finalize placement of children for adoption.
Skill-building program managed by the Canadian Mental Health Association. Designed to help individuals experiencing low mood, mild to moderate depression and anxiety, stress or worry.
