Bounceback Program

Skill-building program managed by the Canadian Mental Health Association.  Designed to help individuals experiencing low mood, mild to moderate depression and anxiety, stress or worry. Clients can learn practical tips on managing mood, sleeping better, building confidence, increasing activity, problem solving, and healthy living.  

This program is delivered over the phone and through online videos. 

Coaching and workbooks involve three to six telephone sessions, where the coach assists the client with developing new skills, staying motivated, and monitoring their progress.  The client and coach will select specific workbook topics that are best suited to the client's current needs. 

Emergency or crisis services not provided.  For access to emergency or crisis services, contact COAST Hamilton, ConnexOntario, or Crisis Services Canada.

Application Instructions

Referral from family doctor or nurse practitioner required.  Referral forms available online.  Completed forms should be emailed to bb-referral@cmha-yr.on.ca or faxed to 905-430-1768.  Self-referral must include the contact information for one's primary care provider
