Hamilton Fire Department, Family Fireworks Sales Permit

Permits the sale of fireworks in Hamilton. Bylaws restrict the sale and storage of fireworks and the fire department enforces these bylaws. All vendors need to purchase a Family Fireworks Sales Permit from the Hamilton Fire Department to legally sell fireworks. Family fireworks may only be sold 7 days prior to and including the Victoria Day and Canada Day national holidays. The Fire Prevention Division also provides online tips and works in the community to promote the safe handling of fireworks.
