Camp FFIT is for young women and gender diverse youth who are interested in learning more about a future career in firefighting. Provides participants with first-hand knowledge of the duties of a firefighter, while developing emergency preparedness skills. All activities are led and supervised by qualified firefighters.

Open to female and gender-diverse youth, aged 16-20 years, in good physical condition. Must possess a valid OHIP or Provincial Health Insurance Card, bring CSA approved steel toe safety boots (with green triangle logo), and be able to wear all Personal Protective Equipment provided.
Fill out application form online. Application form includes an essay (300 words or less) explaining what the applicant would like to achieve or accomplish by attending Camp FFIT and their interest in the Fire service.
