Internationally Educated Nurse Program

Program that supports Internationally Educated Nurses (IEN) with their nursing journey in Ontario by providing a case management approach, and helping with the development of an individualized learning plan to meet their learning needs, thereby enhancing their communication and clinical nursing skills. Ensures that participants are provided with mentorship and experiences thereby making them job-ready.

Eligibility

Adults 18 years or older, with a post-secondary certificate or degree from outside Canada, and international work experience in a profession or trade; must be permanent resident, Canadian citizen, Convention refugee or refugee claimant eligible to work in Canada, with English proficiency that meets Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) Level 7 or above .
 
Clients in Francophone projects must demonstrate French language proficiency of Niveaux de compétence linguistique canadiens (NCLC) Level 7 or above, and English language proficiency of CLB Level 6 or above.
