YMCA Camp Chippewa

Offers outdoor summer camp programs for ages 6-13 years at Christie Conservation Area. Activities include swimming, hiking, arts and crafts, field games, archery, and canoeing. Transportation by bus is available for all camp programs. 

Specialty camps include:

  • Eco-Explorers (ages 8-11 years) - learn about the environment and the world around you through fun activities and wilderness games. Activities focus on nature, education, science, and outdoor games.
  • Canoe and Kayak Skills Camps (ages 8-13 years) - specialty program for campers who want to develop canoeing or kayaking skills as part of their camp experience at Camp Chippewa.
  • Fundamentals Camp (ages 10-13 years) - learn the magic of the outdoors and learn valuable camping skills in a fun environment.
