Summer Camps

Residential or day camp facilities where care and recreational activities are provided for children during the summer vacation period.

 

Services

Offers March Break and summer camps for French-speaking children. All camp leaders are francophone or bilingual and encourage children to speak French as much as they can. Activities include educational outings, sports, and artistic projects. Extended care is available for a fee.

Offers licensed before and after school care for children ages 4-12 years old, as well as PA days, winter break, March break, and summer day camps.

A learn-to-ride bike camp known for taking kids from training wheels to two wheels to road riding. Includes specialized equipment, tailored cycling lessons, and knowledgeable instructors to build confidence and get the most tentative kids to ride on their own.

A four week camp focused on building technical soccer skills for youth up to age fourteen.

  • evening campfire and drama program

Offers residential camp programs for children, youth, and families living with inherited bleeding disorders, and allows the opportunity to experience camp and a variety of physical activities in a fun, safe, and supported environment.

Offers a variety of day camp programs that include traditional camp games, activities, and swimming.

Offers a number of soccer based summer camps for boys and girls ages 5 to 13. Full day and half day camps are available and focus on soccer and include skill development, team building exercises, games, and activities.

Offers a variety of summer camp, march break camp, winter camp, and PA day camp programs to teach the basics of hockey, teamwork, and sportsmanship.

Offers day camps with indoor and outdoor activities, martial arts classes, arts and crafts, and education on respect, focus, self-control, and self-discipline.

Integration of special needs children may be accommodated and will be reviewed on an individual basis.

A summer co-ed volleyball camp for children in grades 1 to 8 with emphasis on skill building in a positive environment. MVP Camp instructors are certified NCCP coaches, members of the Mountain Volleyball Club and the McMaster Volleyball community.

Offers year-round dramatic arts instruction for students of all ages. Programs focus on training with professional artists and exploration of individual artistic voice.

Acting and music and theatre classes held weekly with categories os acting, music theatre, and acting for adults.

Offers a variety of arts based summer camps to give children experience in musical theatre, drama, visual arts, dancing, and music. Camps are available for children in junior kindergarden to grade 12. Extended care is available.

Intensive summer golf camp provides three hours of instruction and three hours of supervised on-course play. Lunch included. Golf equipment provided if necessary.

Offers a variety of day camp programs to introduce children to dance disciplines including: jazz, hip-hop, acrobatics, and musical theatre.
