Trained volunteers provide companionship and personal assistance to isolated seniors or adults with chronic illnesses or physical or cognitive disabilities. Visits are one to two hours long and occur on a regular weekly or biweekly basis. The compatibility of clients and volunteers is determined through a careful interview process.
