Conserver Society Projects and Funds

The Conserver Society is an independent non-partisan advocacy group that does project work related to cleaning in the environment in and around Hamilton.

The Conserver Society offers the Betty Blashill Award is presented annually to a volunteer who seek to improve the quality of life in Hamilton through environmental action. Annual deadline is April 1.

They also maintain the Ed Smee Fund. This fund accepts applications from the community for small projects in education, research or advocacy aimed at protecting the natural environment. This fund opens applications every other year. Contact the organization about applying.
