An immigration and settlement program designed for newcomer women, youth, and 2SLGBTQ+ youth.

Services include:

  • peer support and weekly check-ins
  • social events and conversation circles
  • job preparation
  • community referrals
  • networking programs
  • gender-based violence supports
  • weekly events and workshops

This program operates in partnership with Speqtrum Hamilton.

Eligibility

Open to all permanent residents, protected persons/convention refugees, and temporary foreign workers with an approved work permit who identity as a woman, 2SLGBTQIA+ or non-binary.

Application Instructions

Complete the online application form to register.  Participants must ensure they have proof of residency status before applying.  Options include:

  • permanent resident card
  • landing paper
  • work permit for live-in caregivers
  • decision letter for permanent residency or refugee status
