Postsecondary educational institutions that offer the highest possible level of formal learning in various fields and disciplines for people who meet entry level requirements and are interested in an advanced education. Included are public and private colleges and universities that offer a four year, undergraduate course of study, which award a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) or Bachelor of Science (B.S. or B. Sc.) degree to successful graduates; and those that offer postgraduate study at masters or doctorate levels in addition to an undergraduate program.

 

Services

Centre for Aviation Technology located at Hamilton International Airport.  Student capacity is limited to 350 people.  One of several permanent training sites through Mohawk College.  Offering the following programs:

Togo Salmon Hall.  Part of McMaster University campus.  Various clubs and societies operate from this building, including the Hamilton Philharmonic Youth Orchestra. 

Ewart Angus Centre.  Part of McMaster University campus.  Various academic clubs and societies operate from this building, including the Hamilton Association for the Advancement of Literature, Science and Art.

Offers post-secondary education in faculties of Engineering, Health Sciences, Humanities, Science, Social Science, the DeGroote School of Business, and the School of Graduate Studies.

Tuition-free college programming offered in community spaces.  Programs include credit courses, workshops, speaker series, and college services.  Maximum of two City School College credits per person.  Visit website for details.

Offers post-secondary academic and vocational training. Offers full-time studies, part-time studies, apprenticeship, continuing education, diploma and collaborative degree levels.  Cooperative education and experiential learning give students hand-on experiences.
