Personalized Licence Plates

Licence plates for motor vehicles bearing a combination of letters and numbers and/or special background selected by the purchaser that are available at an additional cost to people registering a motor vehicle with provincial authorities. Included are "vanity" plates and special interest plates that have a special graphic design depicting an image related to particular interests, e.g., the environment. In some cases (e.g., special plates for veterans), people may have to submit documentation to prove that they qualify.
