Thrift Shops

Organizations that offer new or secondhand furniture, appliances, clothing, toys and other material goods at lower than retail prices, and which often use the proceeds from sales to support other services to the community. Thrift shops accept direct donations from the public of new and reusable goods. Also included are other types of resale shops that sell secondhand but reusable musical instruments, salvaged building materials, office equipment, sports equipment, books, CDs and other material goods.

Sells gently used furniture, household items, and clothing donated by the local community. Revenue supports the activities of the Eagles Nest Association of Waterdown.

Mission Thrift Store is a volunteer-driven Christian organization that operates thrift stores across Canada.

Thrift store operated by Community Living Hamilton, in partnership with the City of Hamilton. Accepts a wide variety of gently-used items for resale. All money generated from sales are reinvested in Community Living Hamilton services.

Retail stores distributing used/next-to-new clothing and furniture at a nominal price to any family in need. All proceeds from store sales support programs at Society of Saint Vincent de Paul.

A thrift store selling gently used clothing and household goods. Profits are used by the church to create positive change in local neighbourhoods. Donations can be dropped off anytime during store hours and must be smoke-free and bug/pest-free.
