Suspended/Expelled Students

Individuals whose right to attend a particular school and/or class has been involuntarily terminated, either permanently or for a period of time (which may be specified or indefinite but generally does not exceed one year) based on failure to meet academic standards, improper conduct or other factors. Expulsion may be permanent while suspension may be either short term (generally 10 days or less) or long term (more than 10 days but generally not exceeding one full year). Regulations vary from area to area.
