Bereavement and Grief Counseling

Programs that provide emotional support, problem-solving assistance, information and guidance for people who have recently experienced a loss, such as the death of a loved one, divorce or separation. Included are counseling programs for widows and widowers, children who have lost a parent, parents who have lost a child and people who are in other similar situations.

 

Services

A weekend bereavement camp for children and teens who are grieving the death of someone close to them. Campers participate in traditional camp activities combined with grief education and emotional support, led by expert bereavement professionals and trained volunteers.

Offers a variety of support groups and grief management activities for all ages. 

Services include: 

Hospice or palliative care volunteer visitors are specially trained, caring volunteers who visit with clients and their families to support them through a life-limiting or end-of-life journey. They offer compassion, emotional support, companionship, as well as respite support for caregivers.
