Programs that provide for the spiritual, social, mental and physical development of children and youth and their families through a broad-based program which includes classes, recreational activities, fitness programs, leadership development opportunities, camping, youth clubs, parent-child programs, youth employment support services, cross-cultural exchange programs, community involvement opportunities and a variety of other activities that give participants a chance to develop a wide range of interpersonal relationships, strengthen family ties and to achieve a satisfying degree of personal growth.

 

Services

YWCA's Mountain View Child Care Centre. Licensed child care centre that offers Ministry of Education-licensed child care for toddlers (18-30 months) and preschoolers (2.5 years to school entry).

The Putman Family YWCA is a 50 unit affordable permanent housing residence for single and mother-led families.

Provides a full range of educational, sport, and recreational activities for newcomers to Canada. These activities provide newcomer youth with a fun, supportive environment.

Services include:

Provides clean, safe, and affordable transitional housing for up to 210 men at risk. Short-term accommodations provided on a weekly or monthly basis with 24-hour front desk support, including navigation to critical community support services with key partner agencies. Includes non-smoking furnish

Offers a variety of health and fitness programs for individuals and families. Serves all members of the community, including those with limited financial means.

Provides affordable programs and services for adults age 55 and older to enrich and support independent active living. Programs include:

  • physical health
  • emotional well-being
  • skill development
  • social connections

Offers Ministry of Education-licensed child care for toddlers (18-30 months) and preschoolers (2.5 years up to school entry.) Lunch and healthy snacks provided.
