Glee Clubs/Choir Groups

Programs that provide organized opportunities for individuals who have an interest in singing to join a glee club, choir or other vocal group and learn to sing part-songs, ballads, choral pieces, glees and other music in concert with fellow vocalists.

 

Services

A mixed voice chamber choir performing a wide variety of live music at various venues in the Hamilton and Oakville area.

A community choir, including soprano, alto, tenor, and bass vocal ranges. Practices held weekly. New members are welcome. 

A community choir who perform a wide variety of music.

An adult choral group that performs from a vast repertoire of music. Performs annual Christmas and Spring concerts each season, in addition to performances at senior-living centers and for charitable causes. 

The Harlequin Singers currently rehearse at St. Luke's Anglican Church in Burlington. Performances are held in various venues throughout Hamilton, see website for information. 

An adult choral group who perform a vast repertoire of music drawn from big band, Broadway, film, folk, and pop charts. Offers concerts for retirement homes, local charities, and the general public.

A mixed-voice choir and singing community of traditional music from many cultures. Holds two concerts per year in December and May. New members are welcome.

A non-audition, mixed-voice choir for adults and older youth.

Offers a wide range of sounds and professional a cappella entertainment styles through live performance, from singing telegrams to large choral performances.

A non-denominational men's choir who sings music from a variety of musical genres, including big band, gospel, and soft rock. A chapter of the Ontario District of the Barbershop Harmony Society. 

Hamilton Children’s Choir offers choral music education programs for children and youth between the ages of 18 months and 24 years.

Provides children and youth with musical education and performance opportunities, which helps create a sense of belonging, nurtures personal growth, and experiences the benefits of community. 

Runs the Women of Song SSAA chorus group and supports young musicians through its scholarship program as well as providing a platform for scholarship winners to perform in recital.  Performances are held in various venues.  Affiliated with Hamilton Music Festival.

An organization composed of singers who perform locally with professional soloists and musicians.

A concert choir, performing choral pieces solo or with musicians. Concerts take place throughout the Hamilton area. 

A fraternal organization of Canadians of Italian heritage with activities focused on service, charity, heritage, and community involvement. Offers social activities and committees for members such as wine tasting, choir, FC soccer club, cooking groups, and charity golf and bowling clubs.

Theatre Ancaster provides opportunities for adults from beyond high-school age to engage in both musical and non-musical programs.
