General Crafts Clubs

Programs that provide organized opportunities for individuals to pursue their interest in crafts, often through the medium of a club or society which is under the leadership of people who are knowledgeable in the subject. The clubs support a wide variety of crafts depending on the interests of members who may participate in individual and group projects that represent a range of disciplines. Some general crafts clubs may also provide facilities for working on a range of crafts, arrange for discounts on materials, sponsor exhibits or sales of art pieces created by members, publish a newsletter or provide a crafts library. Included are Internet-based virtual clubs, WebRings devoted to the subject and clubs where members meet face-to-face.
