Mental Health Related Support Groups

Mutual support groups whose members are people who have specific social, emotional or other mental health problems. Families and friends may also be welcome. The groups meet in-person, by telephone or via the Internet; and provide an opportunity for participants to share information, practical tips for daily living and encouragement about issues related to the problem.

IDHC provides programs and services focusing on the development, and enhancement of programs and services focusing on the education, prevention, and management of diabetes in Indigenous communities, both on and off-reserve.

A Canadian registered charity that offers a self-help mental health program based on Cognitive Therapy.

Offers a variety of mental health related services to support mental, physical, spiritual, and emotional health.

Services include:

This council consists of in, out and ex-patients of St. Joseph's Mental Health and Addiction program. Council members sit on committees within and outside the hospital setting. It provides individuals a vehicle to provide input in to policy and program change.

Provides a safe environment for individuals who experience a mental health and/or substance use crisis and who do not require a hospital stay. Confidential and free services are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
