Sightseeing/Guided Tours

Organizations that provide morning, afternoon, evening or full-day excursions which enable visitors to see local places of interest in a city or surrounding areas, usually under the auspices of a guide who is knowledgeable in the history, landmarks, culture and natural history of the area. Also included are local places of interest such as historic homes and neighbourhoods, public buildings, theatre complexes, race track stable areas and other points of interest that are open to the public on a regular or special open-house basis and which may provide guided tours.

 

Services

The Lady Hamilton Club offers free walking tours of downtown Hamilton from May to October each year from 28 James Street North's Lister Block.

This volunteer run organization is open to new members volunteering to help with these tours.

The Lady Hamilton Club operates out of Tourism Hamilton in the Lister Block building.

A volunteer group, established in 1971, that provides tours of Hamilton. They work in conjunction with the City of Hamilton's Economic Development department and Tourism Hamilton.

Membership meetings are held the fourth Wednesday of the month September to June, see website for details.
