Programs that provide opportunities for people of all ages to learn, become competitive in and enjoy swimming. Included are programs that provide swimming lessons for people who are unable to swim.

Tidal Waves is a volunteer organization run by students at McMaster University. It provides low-cost swimming lessons to those with a range of physical and intellectual disabilities.

A non-profit competitive swimming club that aims to maximize the potential of young swimmers. Offers lessons and programs for swimmers of all levels. Locations vary based on swim level and schedule.

Provides coached fitness training and stroke correction for swimmers.  Motivations include fitness, triathlon training, and competitive swimming.  All members may compete in local and provincial events.  Competitive swimming experience is not required.

A municipal outdoor pool offering public swimming in the summer months.  Most programs are drop-in, while others require registration.

Offers courses in water safety, boat safety, lifejackets, swimming, lifeguarding, swimming, ice safety and drowining training for toddlers.

One-on-one swim program for young swimmers with special needs. Helps children develop and improve their swim skills. 

Therapeutic pool, 33 degrees Celsius, 3-4.5 ft depth with easy step access and a lift system.  A variety of water exercise classes are offered ranging from gentle stretching to cardio aerobics available for adults as well as infants and children.
