Therapeutic Camps

Residential or day camp facilities that are appropriately staffed and equipped to provide an opportunity for children or adults who have developmental disabilities, emotional disturbances or health impairments, or who have other limitations or problems which require special facilities or programming, to enjoy a cooperative indoor and/or outdoor living experience.



This camp provides an opportunity for individuals living with aphasia and their family members or friends to participate in recreational, social and therapeutic weekend retreats.

Usually held at Rainbow Lake: Camp Trillium

The March of Dimes offers two summer programs one at Geneva Park (Ontario) and one at Camp Brigadoon Village (Nova Scotia). Each program is 6 days, 5 nights. These are for people with physical disabilities.

Three-day summer camp for children living with epilepsy and their siblings. Camp staff has seizure first aid training, CPR training, and HIGH FIVE training for preventing, identifying, and managing kids with seizure disorders.

A weekend bereavement camp for children and teens who are grieving the death of someone close to them. Campers participate in traditional camp activities combined with grief education and emotional support, led by expert bereavement professionals and trained volunteers.

Due to the COVID-19 virus, the YWCA has closed all day camps.

Offers P.A. Day, Holiday, and March Break and Summer Camps at various locations. Activities include: games, sports, crafts, swimming, outings and more. Includes exciting day trips.
