Adult Protective Intervention/Investigation

Programs that evaluate reports on the abuse, neglect or self-neglect of elder or vulnerable adults and assess what response is necessary. Services may include removal of the individual to safer surroundings, authorization for medical treatment and other available services necessary to remove the conditions which have created a threat to life or well-being.
