Christmas Baskets

Programs, generally supported by donations from the community, that attempt to facilitate enjoyment of the Christmas season by low-income community residents through distribution of food baskets which usually contain a ham, turkey or other meat and all of the trimmings for a Christmas dinner (or vouchers to purchase these items) and occasionally gifts for children or other family members.

 

Services

This program provides provides food and new gifts for children, youth, and adults requiring assistance during the holidays. 

Provides assistance to families with children under 16 and seniors through the Christmas season and confidentially connects individuals and families who want to provide assistance over Christmas.

Family or individual sponsorship can include:

Provides a regular food bank visit that includes food and essential clothing, as well as added Christmas foods, decorations, and toys for children.

Provides food for families and individual adults and holiday gifts for children age 13 and under. Children must reside permanently with applicant in order to register. Hamper pick-up dates will be assigned at the time of registering.

Provides grocery assistance, including items for a seasonal meal, as well as toys and gifts for children and youth aged 0-18 years.
