Mentoring Programs

Programs that provide companionship, guidance and/or role models for individuals who are disadvantaged because of age, income, physical or developmental disabilities or family environment.

 

Services

Matches children and teens with volunteers from the community. Pairs meet regularly, sharing interests and activities while building friendships, and the caregivers benefit from additional respite.

Offers a mentorship program that aims to help improve the emotional well-being of Black youth in Hamilton. By connecting with consistent, caring adults, BYAP helps youth participants make healthy and safe choices, increase their resiliency, and progress toward their goals.

Programs connect job seekers who are blind or partially sighted to employers in Canada.
