Gynecology Services

Programs usually available in community-based health clinics and family planning centres that provide primary and preventive care, family planning services, diagnostic imaging, management of menopause, medical and surgical treatment of women's disorders and/or diagnosis and treatment of cancers affecting the female genital system. Specific routine services generally include pap smears, pelvic examinations, breast exams, urinalysis, pregnancy testing, laboratory tests including testing for sexually transmitted diseases, contraception, morning after contraception and hormone replacement therapy.
