Centre for Addiction and Mental Health:

Provides educational courses and skills training workshops to the community on a variety of topics, including parenting, child development, and child and youth mental health issues. Programs are available for children, youth, and caregivers, and are held regularly at locations across the Greater Hamilton Area.

Workshops include: 

A 12 bed assessment and treatment unit providing a therapeutic environment to those whose recovery from psychiatric disease is complicated by age-related issues. Programs available are most appropriate for those who present primarily with mood disorders and late-onset psychotic disorders.

The Hamilton Museum of Mental Health Care is committed to the collection, interpretation and continued preservation of the history of mental health care at St. Joseph's Healthcare Hamilton Margaret and Charles Juravinski Centre for Integrated Healthcare. This collection represents artifacts and information from the earliest days when the hospital was known as Ontario Hospital Hamilton until the present.

Provides assessment, rapid consultation, and treatment of individuals experiencing mental health problems.  Coordinates aftercare for individuals discharged from inpatient psychiatric units, and works with community groups to prevent the development of mental health problems through education, consultation, and joint projects.

Services include:

This council consists of in, out and ex-patients of St. Joseph's Mental Health and Addiction program. Council members sit on committees within and outside the hospital setting. It provides individuals a vehicle to provide input in to policy and program change. It provides support opportunities for individuals to access information, education and support regarding choices, self advocacy, peer support and political awareness.

Site of McMaster Children's Hospital that offers outpatient services, developmental pediatrics and rehabilitation services, and child and youth mental health services. Part of the Hamilton Health Sciences Network.

A health and lifestyle program aimed at preventing chronic disease and enhancing the quality of life for those living with mental illness and offers a variety of modules (Exercise, Cooking, Nutrition, Smoking Management, and Weight Management).
