EarlyON Child and Family Centres provide opportunities for children from birth to 6 years of age to participate in play and inquiry-based programs, and support parents and caregivers in their roles.

The Newcomer Learning Centre, located on the fourth floor of Central Library, serves people who are new to Canada.  

Services include:

Promotes oral health among individuals that are under-served and lack access to adequate oral health care. Services include cleaning, fluoridation, pits and fissure sealants, and check-ups. 

Provides and promotes opportunities to learn and make healthy lifestyle choices with a focus on environmental and policy approaches to increasing activity rates, healthy eating, tobacco use cessation, cancer prevention, and screening.

Provides topical professional education, training, and seminars for caregivers and seniors. Sessions vary, and may include information on topics such as finances, end of life, and senior safety.

Offers care for mental health and addiction issues to young people in a safe environment.  Clinical mental health care is offered in an early intervention stream, a transition support stream, and from a mobile team.  Drop-in counselling is also av
