Hamilton Public Library is an agency of the City of Hamilton and is governed by a board of directors. Provides a network of 23 branches and two bookmobiles that are hubs for information, culture, learning, and discovery. 

Supports public libraries in the provision of accessible collections for Canadians with print disabilities and champions the fundamental right of Canadians with print disabilities to access media and reading materials in the format of their choice, including audio, braille, e-text.

The Stoney Creek Historical Society is dedicated to the preservation, protection, and sharing of Stoney Creek history. This group manages the Stoney Creek Research Library and Archives.

Protestant Church offering weekly worship service, as well as children's and youth groups, Bible study, and other small groups. Also offers a lending library of books, CDs, and DVDs.

The City of Hamilton owns 9 civic museums, which includes 6 national historic sites (NHS). Each site offers regular programming and events.

All sites offer free admission with a Hamilton Public Library card.
