Friendly visits and/or telephone reassurance for persons who are living in their own home/apartment or recovering from hospital stays.
Provides emergency access to 7 days worth of food and hygiene supplies in a community-based setting, while providing as much choice as possible, including culturally appropriate food.
Provides non-medical personal support service to high-risk seniors who require access to care on a 24 hour basis in their home.
A community fridge with 24/7 access, in which anyone in the neighbourhood can take or leave food donations, in the spirit of mutual aid.
Full service lending libraries available to patients, families, staff, and the community. Includes books, CDs, DVDs, and brochures that are available for loan. Computers with free internet access are also available.
An accredited 8-week program to give union members tools to understand what supports are available in their community and connect with the appropriate resources.
