Free activities, programs, and workshops for adults 55+, offered by Recreation division and community partners, across the City of Hamilton.

Offers legal services, education, and system navigation to the LGBTQ+ and Two Spirit community in Hamilton. This is a francophone project that has an accompanying English component.

Services include:

Provides driver companions to transport and accompany older adults to and from medical appointments, shopping centres, grocery stores, visiting friends, and other errands.

A cooking and social support program for LGBTQ+ newcomers in Hamilton. Participants share recipes from home, and build community while sharing a meal.

Street Outreach Services that engage individuals who are experiencing mental illnesses and are homeless or living in shelters. City of Hamilton Mental Health and Street Outreach staff work in the community at many locations.

A safe space for women, with volunteers and staff on site for conversation, offering:

Jewish community day school that integrates secular studies with Jewish customs and religion. The curriculum runs from Junior Kindergarten to grade 5.
