Alternatives for Youth team have the capacity to distribute naloxone to youth up to the age of 25 and their family/friends in the Hamilton community.  

Offers a number of day camp programs for school aged children (ages 6-12). Includes camps in the summer, March break, winter holidays, and on PA Days, as well as monthy themed Family Fun days.

Provides a free warm, nutritious meal on weekday mornings for youth aged 13-25. Also provides access to showers, hygiene products, clothing, wi-fi, computers, and crisis and housing support.

Services include:

A stay-in-school program designed to reduce poverty and its effects by lowering the dropout rate among high school students from economically disadvantaged communities, and increase their participation in post-secondary programs.

Provides community based supports for adults with developmental disabilities with a focus on skill building, pre-employment opportunities and literacy skills.

A drop-in centre for youth 8-19 years old, providing a welcoming space for learning, growing, building relationships, having fun, and offering support to experience fulfilling routes

A cooking and social support program for LGBTQ+ newcomers in Hamilton. Participants share recipes from home and build community while sharing a meal.

Provides free warm, nutritious dinners on weekdays for youth aged 13-25, as well as positive social activities such as board games, movies, spa night, karaoke, and more.
