Aims to educate new mothers on healthy interactions with their babies through prenatal classes, nutrition counselling, and postnatal home visits. The program includes:
A 9-week program designed to provide education in nutrition, budgeting, meal planning, and preparation when on a limited income.
Provides free daily meals to individuals in need, year round. Offers light breakfast and coffee, as well as a hot lunch, with a barbeque every Friday.
Program offers a monthly nutritious meal and social time at a location in Glanbrook/Binbrook. Participants from outside of Glanbrook are welcome, but must arrange their own transportation.
An emergency food bank providing emergency food and hygiene supplies for 3-4 days to those with a low income. Operated in partnership with the Davis Creek neighbourhood association.
Community food bank that provides emergency help to individuals and families.
Meets twice a month in a kitchen setting to plan and cook affordable meals, and learn and share skills helpful in budgeting, shopping, and preparation of healthy food.
Lunch program, offered every other month, with free soup, sandwiches, coffee, tea, and dessert. There is a free will donation for those who are able.
This program supports seniors in the Ancaster area who are self-isolating or have little to no assistance with bi-weekly grocery shopping deliveries.
