A collaboration between Mission Services of Hamilton and Mohawk College to create positive attitudes about education among students in grades 6-9 who are experiencing poverty to pursue a post-secondary education after completing high school.

Aims to improve access to justice for Indigenous peoples in Hamilton and surrounding communities by providing culturally respectful and appropriate legal services to Indigenous clients.

The Newcomer Learning Centre, located on the fourth floor of Central Library, serves people who are new to Canada.  

Services include:

Program providing support for youth who have been involved with Family and Children Services. Helps youth to transition to a more independent lifestyle by developing and implementing a personal plan, and providing help navigating adult service sys

Emergency services and grocery support for youth in the Hamilton community. Provides food, clothing, baby products, and hygiene items.

This is a highly structured intensive community based alternative to custody for youth who have come in contact with the law. Youth engage in cognitive programming based on prevention, rehabilitation, and reintegration.
